Welcome to the Law Office of Robert T. Morrin

Attorney Robert T. Morrin is a senior attorney with more than 40 years in practice, whose experience includes both major litigation and counseling sophisticated clients in complex and extremely important legal problems.

He has tried many of the largest eminent domain valuation appeals in the State of Connecticut over the last 25 years, achieving favorable results for both condemning authority clients and property owners whose land had been taken. He has also argued numerous cases before the Appellate and Supreme Courts of the State of Connecticut - as well as scores of administrative appeals before the Superior Court.

Responsibilities 

He has counseled the State Department of Transportation (DOT) in matters involving the acquisition, management of and disposition of real estate and represented DOT, as well as Department of Public Works (DPW), in environmental matters. These matters have involved litigation in State and Federal Court as well as appearances before administrative agencies including administrative appeals in permit matters. He has overseen the work of outside counsel in DOT matters.

He has also represented DOT and Department of Motor Vehicles in a variety of civil rights, employment discrimination and premises liability matters in both state and federal courts and appearances before administrative agencies including the Freedom of Information (FOIC), the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities (CHRO) and the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). Attorney Morrin's responsibility at CONNDOT also included counseling department officials in matters involving the acquisition, management and disposition of real property.
